Open to competitors in Western Ontario from the County of Peterborough and all counties west.
ENTRIES: Entries close on Monday, August 23rd, 2024. No late entries. All exhibitors must pay a $10.00 exhibitor fee. Entry fee will be 20% of the prize money won. Entries are to be submitted online at parisfairgrounds.com/paris-fair or at fair office, and include name, registration number, date of birth and name of sire.
Substitution Rule: Within the number of entries, two substitutions owned by the same exhibitor will be permitted.
One substitution may be intersection, the other will be within section or both may be within section. Substitutions must be reported at the time of the checking of the pedigrees prior to entering the show ring.
Liability Insurance for a minimum of $1 million is mandatory.
Proof of coverage will be required during online registration (have it ready).
CLASS 1410
1. 4H Showmanship Class: Open to 4-H members in Western Ontario to show their 4-H calf.
Group A: Pre 4-H class for children under 4-H age. Sponsored Heather Green in loving memory of
Laverne.
Group B: Open to 4-H members. Prize Money: 1st, $25; 2nd, $20; $10 to remainder in each group.
This class is sponsored by Artifact Haven Farm. A trophy will be presented to the overall winner by Ayrshire Ontario. Include your age and name of your 4-H club with your entry.

13. Breeder's Herd (bred and at least two owned by exhibitor). Group of 3 animals.
Each animal in the group must have been exhibited in one of the classes for single animals.
Winner will receive the Loveless Memorial Trophy in memory of Owen and Robert Loveless and
$100 of which $40 donated by the Western Ontario Ayrshire Club.
Best Udder: Sections 9-12 $20 prize will be awarded. Winners will compete for Overall Best Uddered cow. Trophy donated by Sunny Acres Farm, Brantford.
Premier Breeder Award: Rowan Stansel Memorial Trophy will be presented to the Breeder winning the greatest number of points. See Dairy Cattle General Rules.

Western Ontario Ayrshire Sales Production Plaque will be awarded to the cow placing in the top 4 placings in the 4 year old, 5 year old, and mature cow sections with the highest composite B.C.A.
A cow cannot win this award more than once on the same record.
Exhibitor Sweep Stake Draw: EastGen is offering two semen certificates to two Ayrshire exhibitors during the show. Two names from the exhibitor list will be drawn to receive these certificates.
