PAS Ambassador

Participating in the Paris Fair Ambassador Program offers many benefits, including:

· Gain valuable leadership skills through public speaking, event coordination, and community representation.

· Improve communication and interpersonal skills by engaging with diverse audiences.

· Enhance time management and organizational abilities by balancing responsibilities.

· Build connections with local leaders, businesses, and community members.

· Gain access to mentorship opportunities and advice from past ambassadors and professionals.

· Represent the Paris Agricultural Society and the broader community at local events and fairs.

· Become part of the Ambassador Program’s network of alumni.

To participate in the 2025 Paris Fair Ambassador Competition, contestants must meet the following criteria:

• Age: 17 years of age as of August 1st, 2025, and not be 24 years of age by August 1st, 2025.
• Gender: Open to any gender.
• Previous Titles: Must not have previously reigned as an Ambassador of any fair.
• Availability:
  • Must represent the Paris Agricultural Society during the 2025 Paris Fair and at various events for one year, starting Labour Day weekend, 2025.
  • Must be available to represent the Paris Agricultural Society at the Canadian National Exhibition in August 2026.
• Sponsoring Organization:
  • Must have a sponsoring organization (a non-profit community organization) to provide the $50 entry fee.
  • Contestants may contact an organization of their choice, or the Paris Fair Ambassador Committee can help find one.

All judging for the competition takes place at the Paris Fair on the Thursday leading into Labour Day weekend. Each contestant will be assigned a mentor from the Paris Fair Ambassador Committee to help them prepare for the competition.
